Interesting to find out Žatec are doing a few other things ,
Recently their standard lager has started popping up in Tescoes in Ireland as wel as a few choice off licences , at really cheap prices . I found it more like a Czech beer (as I remember it) than the other big names available here .

Must ask in the off licence about getting in a few of these other ones ( the 18° beer has piqued my interest )

We get their svetly and tmavy over here in the States and they are always a decent backup plan when the need for a proper lager strikes. Would love to try the Strong.

I've critisised Pivovar Žatec quite strongly in the past, but my opinion has changed recently. Their unfiltered 11º that can be found at a couple of places in Prague is lovely. The other day I cam across a 13º Polotmavé that was quite good. Haven't had that strong one, yet.
