Could this be the start of a trend? Great restaurants (or aspiring ones) selling great beers from small breweries instead of from the Czech Big Three plus Stella Artois and, increasingly, Heineken?
If you want to see what Heineken will do / have done with their breweries in the Czech Lands and Slovakia, research what they did in Alsace, NE France which also used to have small regional breweries.

Fabulous news for those visiting Prague - it's a lot easier to find the dancing houses than that place in Zizkov...

It does indeed mean "wet dogs," for reasons that remain obscure -- the latest theory I have seen holds that it was the nickname of the fishermen who worked the bend in the Berounka there.

And Mokropsy, of course, has the added bonus of its name, which sounds like it means "wet dogs."

A twenty-five minute rail ride south will also yield Kout 10°, 12°, and kvasničák at U Mlynáře in Mokropsy: http://cernosice.umlynare.cz/.

Will probably not make it over to Celeste due to the need to save money for the move, but great to see good Czech beer making waves. Excellent, excellent news. I agree about the 10 degree thing, although I have to admit that the 14 degree dark is my favourite from their selection.
