		<description>Another alternative could be nettle, it grows everywhere and before the Bavarian Purity Law it was widely used instead of hops. It&#039;s got similar antioxidant properties and, if the Nettle Beer of Pivovarsky Dum can be taken as an example, the flavour is not too shabby.</description>

		<description>Back in the &#039;90s, when a lot of microbrewers were still associating themselves with &quot;hippie stuff,&quot; several hemp beers were making the rounds. They were universally awful.

Of course, those beers were gimmicks for the Grateful Dead crowd, not a s attempt to find a hop substitute or adjunct.</description>
