I have tried the beer shampoo and beer hair balsam from Manufaktura. I can say it’s absolutely fantastic. The hair is smooth and bouncy. I got results as with L’occitane hair range which is also fantastic but much more expensive. If you have the opportunity – try it.

I need to know how to order Chodovar beer shampoo. My husband bought a bottle the last time we were in the Czech Republic. He said his hair had never been so great before using this shampoo.

I have’t tried these products, but I have tried those made by Chodovar, the Pivní Šampon and the Pivní koupelová pěna (beer bath lather). Both are really good, pretty cheap at the brewery and made very practical and appreciated Christmas presents.
Rambousek’s website has some recipes to make beer cosmetics at home, but I’ve neve tried them myself.

Back home in the States, there’s also beer soap and beer shampoo (albeit in a soap-like bar shape) from the excellent Dogfish Head brewery:
