I agree with you about the Autumn Dark, though maybe I was a little more impressed than you were. I sure wish I'd caught the X-mas brew. Next time.

I do think Strahov's really improved their game recently, especially in the quality of the beer. I just wish (1) I could get a full glass, and (2) that the service was a little more welcoming. Of course, lower prices wouldn't hurt, but I won't hold my breath.

Interestingly, when I went last week, the jantar was unavailable. The světlé 12° was there in its place.

I liked that 16°, very nice beer, though I didn't fell in love with it. The Xmas special that you missed, on the other hand, was simply wonderful. As it is their Jantár, which has considerably improved.
As you say, there is still the question of the prices. Compared to other brewpubs in Prague, this one is way to expensive. Not to mention that the place itself is not very inviting. Regardless of the price, whenever I go there (not very often) I just feel like having a quick beer and move on, it's got that kind of atmosphere, and the service does not help much either.
